Hive will begin at 7:30PM on Friday, January 16, with a Reception and Welcome Dinner.

Please plan your transportation to ensure that you will arrive promptly at 7:30pm on Friday evening. We recommend that your flight to SFO arrive before 4:30PM if possible.  The location for our Friday dinner is the Impact HUB Bay Area (925 Mission St., San Francisco, CA).

Hive will end at 7:00PM on Monday, January 19, after a brief Closing Reception.

Please ensure that your flight departs from SFO after 8:30PM on Monday if possible. We’ve designed Hive as a holistic, immersive experience, and your attendance is expected at all sessions. Please let us know as soon as possible (smiley@hive.org) if you will have any issues with attendance.

Hive recommends using public transportation or a ride sharing service to get to our venue, since nearby street parking is limited and expensive. The closest BART station to our venue is Powell St. There is private parking available for $25/day at the Hearst Parking Center, 45 3rd Street.

There will be several field trips during Hive, so again, please let us know as soon as possible (smiley@hive.org) if you will have any issues with attendance.

 

Hive Lodging
The Hotel Palomar
12 4th St., San Francisco, CA

Hive has reserved a block of hotel rooms at San Francisco’s Hotel Palomar at a special discounted rate ($205 USD per night). These rooms are available for check-in on Friday January 16th and check-out on Monday January 19th. The Hotel Palomar is within walking distance to the main Hive venue.

Please fill out this hotel request form before December 29th. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis as the number of rooms available at this exclusive rate is limited.  Please note that you are responsible for paying the full cost of your accommodations, including any applicable taxes and associated room fees, regardless of whether your reservation is made through Hive. You will receive a confirmation email from the hotel once your reservation is complete.

Dress Code:
Attire for the Hive Global Leaders Program is casual. Jeans and a t-shirt will be fine. We will be doing some light morning stretching and meditation, so feel free to wear/bring comfortable clothes. It can be chilly in San Francisco, and we are planning outdoor field trips on Saturday and Sunday; please bring a cold weather jacket and/or a warm sweatshirt!
